Does repeated apology reduce your self-confidence?
Confidence is about performance.. If you are afraid, so your confidence weakens, if you are not afraid then your confidence becomes stronger.
So an apology has nothing to do with trust.
But frequent apologies are evidence of low self-esteem.
It does not indicate tact or politeness, but rather a lack of self-esteem.. This applies to frequent apologies, not the apology itself.
However, if you make a lot of mistakes, and then a lot of apologies, here it is okay. But to apologize for what does not deserve an apology, that is weakness.
If you did nothing wrong, instead of apologizing to others, thank them. Thanks better than apologies in these cases.
If you make someone wait for you, then you meet him after, do not say to him: I apologize for being a little late.. but say instead: I thank you very much for waiting for me.. If he blames you, then in this case you can apologize, if he does not blame you, do not apologize.
